Alessandro
Favre has built the hotel in 1930.
In the meanwhile
it has been renovated three times, the last time 1998.
Plugged
in open spaces and wood, it is provided by a spacius parking
and a garden. It is 1 km situated from thw centre of Champoluc
and can be reached by a nice path along the river "Evançon".
The cooking
is made personally by the owner. He is specialized in Aosta
Valley foods, without forgetting the Italian cuisine.
In the
hotel you can also find a restaurant, a television room, a lounge
and a bar reserved for the hotel guests.
Monterosa
Ski, made up of 200 km of ski pistes, has two departure points
in the Ayas Valley: the first is in Champoluc (cable car) and
the second in Frachey (chairlift), by using the latter you can
return to the hotel still wearing your skis.
